PIM(ABS)™
Human AB Serum is a required additive for PIM(R)™, PIM(S)™, and PIM(T)™ islet specific tissue culture media. It is shipped separately as a frozen component to permit the extended shelf life of this media without the AB Serum. Once it is thawed and added to the media, it is recommended that the expiration date be considered to be 60 days from the date of the PIM(ABS) TM addition. It is collected, screened, and frozen until ready for cGMP manufacturing which includes heat inactivation followed by sterile filtration and bottle filling. PIM(G)™
PIM(G)™- PIM(G) TM is the Glutamine / Glutathione mixture that is a required additive for PIM(R) TM, PIM(S) TM, and PIM(T) TM islet specific tissue culture media. It is shipped separately as a frozen component to permit the extended shelf life of these media without these additives. Once it is thawed and added to the media, it is recommended that the expiration date of the reconstituted media be considered to be 30 days from the date of the PIM(G) TM addition.
